At First Colour, we understand that there can be a lot of variables involved in printing. That's why we value transparency and wherever possible, we're here to lend our decades of experience so that you can be 100% satisfied with the end product.
Q: I need a job printed and delivered today or tomorrow. Can you do it and how much will it cost?
A: Most likely, yes! The fastest way to get a quote is to email us your request. One of our account managers will get back to you straight away with the cost and turnaround time. We're open 24 hours, Monday to Friday, and 10 am to 4 pm on Saturdays, so we can meet very tight deadlines.
Q: How should I supply my print files?
A: Please provide your artwork as a PDF with crop marks and a 3mm bleed. If you can't do this, send us what you have, and we'll see if we can fix it for you. Simple fixes are free, but for more complex jobs, our in-house design team can assist for a small fee. If you would like further clarity, please see our guide on how to supply print ready artwork.
Q: Do you offer delivery?
A: Yes, we offer delivery locally and worldwide. We work with same-day, overnight, and international couriers and can organise this for you.
Q: Can I pick up my printing from your shop outside standard office hours?
A: Absolutely. If the door is locked, ring the bell at the front, and a team member will assist you. Please bring the name of the person who ordered it, the company name, and the invoice number.
Q: Can I book my own courier?
A: Yes, just let your account manager know so we can label your job correctly.
Q: I don’t have an account; how do I pay?
A: Once you've approved the estimate, an account manager will send you an invoice and card payment link. Once paid, we’ll start your job. We accept all credit/debit cards and bank transfers (proof of payment required).
Q: Your quote is over over our budget. Is there anything you can do on the cost?
A: We’re very approachable. If you have a cheaper quote or budget constraints, let us know. If we can help, we will.
Q: Why is there no VAT on my estimate/invoice?
A: Some print jobs, like booklets, flyers, and newsletters, are VAT exempt.
Q: Do you offer special print finishes like foiling, embossing, duplexing, raised ink, die cutting, etc.?
A: Yes, we do. Email our team for an estimate.
Q: Can you print labels and stickers?
A: Yes, we do. Email our team for an estimate. We also offer special print finishes on labels (as mentioned above).
Q: Do you offer merchandise printing like pens, tote bags, mugs, lanyards, etc.?
